Ynyslas Point today

Good numbers of waders at the high tide roost this morning consisting of dunlin, ringed plover, and around 20 sanderling (no trendy ringed ones today though! Hum. Mauritania. Will you book the flight Janet or shall I!). A 'commic' tern offshore and great numbers of shearwaters. A feeding frenzy of plunge diving gannets offshore to the North. Still a small movement of swallows going through I wasn't really counting them but reckoned on 10 in an hour which is almost certainly an underestimate.
On my way home I'm 90% sure I saw a stock dove near Pen-y-Graig farm in Treddol.
