The first returning Mediterranean Gulls have been reported since the end of last week and today Chris Bird saw an adult on College Rocks. Also, and interestingly, he saw a male Goosander in full eclipse plumage. It could well be the one I saw at Nant yr Arian last month. The trip to Norway to moult clearly did not appeal.
