White-fronted Geese at Ynys-hir

High tide (5.2 metres) came about 8.20 a.m. this Sunday, just as the early
morning sun cleared the mist. 7 White-fronted geese obligingly flew over and
landed close to the breakwater hide, then swam back downstream with military
precision. All seven did an "eyes left" simultaneously, followed by an "eyes
front". An eighth bird tagged onto the procession, but didn't seem to
synchronize so well.
