White stork

I received a rather marvellous photo yesterday of a white stork that roosted overnight (Sunday 27th I think) next to the back door of a house in Trefenter. The photograph shows what looks like a plastic ring and, in view of the rather close proximity from the house and this ring it is probably an escape from captivity. The bird seen flying over Lledrod yesterday was presumably this bird. A marvellous sighting nevertheless.
