Green woodpecker calling from the river bank opposite the car park this evening (sorry Arfon!). 4 dipper just about to fledge at the bridge. Willow tit heard in the scrub and a robin still sitting on a nest only a few inches off the ground. Checked a few of the new boxes (rescued from the Nant yr Arian clearance), and there was a marsh tit sitting. I had to look twice in case I'd imagined it! There are 4 areas in the wood with singing marsh tit and we have boxes in all 4 so it's paid off
