nightjar

Interesting Ian, I logged a nightjar up there when doing the woodcock survey some years ago 2004? in a clear fell area that had just been felled and I know Karen has heard a bird churring in that same area in recent years.  Must ask Tony Cross about site fidelity tho' I guess its eventually limited by the new tree growth as at Tyn Y Graig near Ystrad Meurig a favourite site when Red used to lead occasional evening forays up there.
