Hello everyone.
I am really pleased at how well the coverage for the Breeding Atlas has come on recently. Most of the tetrads are covered now and Roving Records are still coming in. Thanks to everyone for their hard work. The place where we need most help now is the proof of breeding particularly in SN 15,25,55,57,58. Can I ask those of you who live near or visit these 10km squares to see if you can add to the list. If you go to 'Squares Summarhy' and enter the Square number you will get a printable list of all the birds recorded and the breeding status. The green disc indicates that proof has been obtained. The others which are not yet proved include some quite common birds which must breed there. If you know for certain that you have proof of breeding during the Atlas period, perhaps you noticed it previously without recording it, you can enter this as a Roving Record. you still need to giveat least an approximte date and place. And there is still time to go out and have a look.
Here's hoping.
