Kingfisher at Ynys-hir

On our "Wednesday Walk" at Ynys-hir this morning we were delighted to see a Kingfisher from Marian Mawr hide. It repeatedly dived into the pool to the right of the hide, returning to its perch in a willow to bash and juggle the little fish it caught before swallowing them head first.

I must have scanned for Kingfishers from this hide 20 times this year, this is the first I've seen there. I'm pretty sure it was a male.
