Using your car as a hide

There's nothing un unusual about these two photos of a juvenile starling and
a pair of linnets on the saltmarsh between Aberleri and Ynyslas, except for
the way they were taken: from inside a car, with the telephoto lens mounted
on the passenger window. Several friends had recommended it to me, but I
only got round to trying it out this week, and it works: as long as you stay
inside the car, the birds take little notice of you and your camera. The
juvenile starling was in a flock of 100+ which gradually came closer and
closer until they were right next to me. Are there other places, I wonder,
where cars can be parked so close to the birds?
