I enjoyed mini raptorfest during my walk on Foel Fawr this morning. The star of the show was a Goshawk which I watched quartering the higher section of the hill quite close-by, to the east of where I was standing. I watched the bird for about 3 or 4 minutes and lost sight of her as she drifted further east. I was still smirking over the Gos when an Osprey came into sight and glided right over my head in a north-westerly direction. A couple of Buzzards then appeared and finally, as I walked down the hill onto the road a Red Kite drifted over.
