Been out birding today (Sunday)around Aber and Borth areas.
Here are some of the fantastic sightings I had:
Very large flocks of Redwing, Fieldfare numbering estimate of 300+ birds in
some areas!!. 1000's of Lapwing covering the lowland fields. 2 Woodcock in
fields at Bow Street in amoung Lapwing and several Snipe.
Yns-Las: 2 Raven, 1000+ Lapwing and 200+Golden Plover, 2 Redshank, 300+
Redwing and Fieldfare with, lots of Blackbird and Song Thrush covering the
fields everywhere!!. 4 Stonechat, 2 Snipe, 23 Meadow Pipit, 11 Reed Bunting, 1
Merlin, 1 Sparrowhawk, 2 Buzzard in fields aswell.
Incredible numbers of the winter Thrushes and Lapwing was quite a
spectacular sight to see!!
