Went for a walk this morning above Llanddewi Brefi. Arrived at about 9am and it was clear that there were small flocks moving NE up and over Cwm Twrch (nearly 500m altitude) . In the next hour I counted 280 Wood Pigeons, 210 Redwings and 20 Fieldfares. Things dribbled to a halt well before 10am and I would guess that a fair few birds had already moved through in the two hours after dawn.
