The robin which has been demanding meal worms from me for the last three years appears to have departed to the great territory in the sky as we have neither seen it nor heard the usual robin song from the copper beech. It seems we are robin-less at present, we hope that will alter soon.
This morning, on the field a pair of ravens displaying while raiding a crow's food cache 'hidden' in one of the grass tussocks.
