Pleased to find 9 Brents in the stream outflow feeding on green weed,drinking and preening. 2 family groups, 2ads with 1 young plus another 2 ads with 4 young. The youngsters were extremely smart with white edges to their coverts making bars. They were happily undisturbed for the hour I watched given the drizzle and the apparent absence of residents at the greatly enlarged Clarach statics park. The new leisure centre looks like it was designed by the same person who built Hitler's Atlantic Wall of gun emplacements though wafer thin laminate cladding won't last for 80 years.
